Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor physical therapy (PT) is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on the pelvic floor muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues. It aims to address issues such as pain, incontinence, and sexual dysfunction by assessing and treating imbalances in the pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor therapy and treatment may include exercises, manual therapy, and education on proper body mechanics. This therapy is often recommended for individuals experiencing problems related to surgery, childbirth, or conditions that cause pelvic floor dysfunction. At Nurture Women’s Health & Fertility, our pelvic floor physical therapist will tailor the approach to each individual's needs.
